NEW DELHI: After holding extensive hearing over 19 days, the Supreme Court on Tuesday reserved its verdict on the constitutional validity of criminal defamation law.
A bench of justices Dipak Misra and Prafulla C Pant will pronounce its verdict on a batch of 27 petitions filed by a TV channel, journalists and politicians including Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
