NEW DELHI: Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has refused to accept an offer for closure of a defamation case against him provided he apologised for his remarks, that RSS killed Gandhi, which he made during an election campaign. The Congress leader instead asked the Supreme Court to examine the complex constitutional issues raised in his petition which termed the existing defamation laws were "anachronistic."
Gandhi's counsel Kapil Sibal refused to tender any apology on his behalf ..
