Controversial Islamic tele-evangelist said his Peace TV has applied for licence for twice but the centre, in 2008 and 2012, refused to grant it one without giving proper reasons. He claimed his TV is a victim of discrimination by the centre.

He also criticised sections of the media, saying they were maligning him and using doctored footage.
