Censor board member Dr Chandraprakash Diwedi's film Mohalla Assi, which pokes savage fun at the commercialization of the Holy city of Varanasi, has been refused certification by the Revising Committee of the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification). The film stars Sunny Deol and Sakshi Tanwar in important roles.

Ditto for the Gujarati film Power of Patidar which is based on Hardik Patel.
