AGRA: Police on Monday detained and questioned the NGO activist who had publicly screened BBC documentary 'India's Daughter' in an Agra village on Sunday despite the ban, challenging the government to take any action against him that it deemed fit.

Ketan Dixit, the 'Stop Acid Attacks' activist who collected villagers of Rupdhanu village, 40 km from Agra city, before showing them the documentary on the Nirbhaya rape on a big projector had his laptop and the projector confiscated by the local administration. The two things were then sent for forensic examination.

Dixit, also an independent documentary film-maker, along with two other SAA volunteers had organized the screening as a "mark of protest against the ban".
