KOLKATA: Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee today filed a defamation suit against West Bengal Left Front chairman Biman Bose in the Calcutta High Court demanding a compensation of Rs. 10 crore.

Mr Banerjee, nephew of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, claimed that Mr Bose had during a news conference made a defamatory allegation against him with regard to primary Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) examination which was postponed over an alleged leak of question papers.
