GUWAHATI: The first-class judicial magistrate of Kamrup (Metro), Mridusmita Hazarika, issued an arrest warrant against BJP Lok Sabha MP from Nagaon constituency Rajen Gohain in connection with a criminal defamation case filed by state agriculture minister Rockybul Hussain last year.

The court issued the order on Monday amid speculation of Gohain's inclusion in the ministry in the next Union cabinet reshuffle.
