IMPHAL, Dec 16 - The journalists’ community under the aegis of All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union (AMWJU) and Editor’s Guild Manipur (EGM) today staged a sit-in demonstration to protest against the threat to media-persons at Keishampat junction here.

The demonstration was staged as per joint emergency meeting decisions of AMWJU and EGM on Tuesday to launch protests in the wake of recovery of a hand grenade at the residence of an editor-in-chief of a local cable channel Yumnam Rupachandra on Monday night.
