Former Chhattisgarh chief minister Ajit Jogi and his son and Congress legislator Amit Jogi have filed a defamation suite against a national English daily, its editor, editor-in-chief, publisher and correspondent allegedly for wrongly publishing and releasing an audio tape labeling his name in a news report of Antagarh by-poll 'fixing' row.
Amit Jogi, on Wednesday arrived at Civil Lines police station here and lodged a written complaint against the English daily and it's correspondent. Jogi alleged in his complaint that a baseless and contorted story has appeared in the said daily on December 30, which has maligned his father's and their family image.
