Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) vice-president Chetan Chauhan on Thursday filed a criminal defamation case against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former cricketer Kirti Azad, while taking exception to their allegations of irregularities in the cricket body.
Mr. Chauhan filed the case in Tis Hazari court here with the contention that the “defamatory remarks” of Mr. Kejriwal and Mr. Azad with respect to DDCA’s functioning and practices amounted to an offence under the Indian Penal Code.
