A Jamia Millia Islamia University PhD scholar was detained and questioned on Sunday by the police in the sedition case registered in connection with the February 9 event at JNU.

Jamia’s PhD scholar Kamran, resident of south Delhi’s Munirka, was questioned for over six hours at the Vasant Vihar police station after police asked him to join investigation, police sources said. Police suspect Kamran was present at JNU during the event as well.
