A joint meeting of seven clubs and three Meira Paibi bodies of Thongju area today condemned the arrest of Editor Sana Leibak, Ahongshangbam Mobi who is also the Vice President and Spokesperson of AMJWU by police commandos in civil dress from Tiddim Service Station after calling him to come down from his office which is located near the station.
A public meeting was held today with volunteers of SEVA, SWFC, NYK, LDS, SLUCO, YPC, TCMDC, NLPYK, PLWW and PMP demanded unconditional release of Editor Mobi to the state government.
The meeting also resolved to support AMJWU in its every step against the arrest of Mobi.
The meeting also appealed to KCP (Tabungba Group) about the incident.
A sit in protest will be held tomorrow by the members of the clubs and Meira Paibi organizations of the area.
