It won't be wrong to tag Udta Punjab as one of the most controversial films of 2016. While there were several reports that claimed that the film has failed to get censor board's approval due to expletives and drug use, makers and Anurag Kashyap himself rubbished all the rumors saying this is all created by the 'media'.

Looks like troubles won't end for Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt & Diljit Dosanjh's film. After CBFC levied 40 cuts on the film, Anurag Kashyap, who is one of the co-producers of the film requested the tribunal and I&B minister to intervene.
