AHMEDABAD: The makers of Bollywood movie 'Udta Punjab' may have heaved a sigh of relief on Monday, but the struggle for artistic freedom against the censor board continues for the makers of a Gujarati movie, 'Salagto Sawaal Anamat' (Burning Question of Reservation).
Questioning the motive of the film-makers in picking the emotive theme, and raising concerns over the protagonist's resemblance to Patel quota activist Hardik Patel, who faces sedition charges, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) last week suggested 100 cuts to the film.
The film's co-producer Jaypratapsinh Chauhan said they immediately filed an appeal against the decision before a review committee of the board, which will hear the plea on Tuesday.
