The Madhya Pradesh Police have booked and suspended three police officers for allegedly assaulting two journalists on July 6 after dubbing them as “activists” of banned outfit SIMI.

An FIR was registered against ASI Raghuveer Singh Dangi, and head constables Subhash Tyagi and Santosh Yadav under Sections 341(wrongful restraint), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 294 (obscene acts or words in public).
