Minister of state for housing Ravindra Waikar on Monday served a Rs 10 crore defamation notice against city Congress chief Sanjay Nirupam for making false and baseless allegations against him.

Waikar said he has given a 15-day ultimatum to Nirupam to tender an unconditional apology for making baseless and false allegations for face civil and criminal defamation proceedings.
