A scribe who captured pictures of security personnel breaking the queue in one of the banks in Imphal on Monday was physically assaulted.

Reports said that some security personnel who came to United Bank of India (UBI) MG Avenue, Imphal allegedly defied the customers of the bank in queue for depositing and withdrawing money.

The security personnel who were by-passing the customers in queue manhandled the reporter for taking pictures of some security personnel breaking the queue through his camera this forenoon, around 11 am.

Staffs of the bank were also alleged of encouraging the security personnel in assaulting the reporter on duty by hurling abusive words against the reporter.
