The Congress suspended the former minister from the primary membership of the party on Saturday.
Maderna is accused of having a hand in the kidnapping and possible murder of the dalit nurse who has been missing for 74 days now.

The CBI, meanwhile, questioned Rajasthan Congress MLA Malkhan Singh for the second day on Saturday, and also investigating if a political feud led to the kidnap of the nurse.
