Why Vijay should own up to his fans abusing a journalist

Before you call me a 'male bimbo', I must warn you that I'm neither a fan of Thala nor Thalapathy, Puratchi Thalapathi, Makkal Selvan, Natural/Supreme Star. Recently, Dhanya Rajendran, editor-in-chief of The News Minute, wrote a casual tweet on Jab Harry Met Sejal -- that she walked out of the film halfway through, while she waited till interval for Vijay's Sura (2009).

The tweet, which did not degrade Vijay in any manner whatsoever, had the Vijay Army up in arms against her and Dhanya was attacked with scathing remarks -- about her character, her husband, her close ones and what not.

What's the easiest way to silence a woman? Slut-shame her. And they did. To go by Dhanya's tweet, the entire fiasco was pre-planned by the actor's fans, who relentlessly posted hate messages on Twitter, thereby forcing her to lodge a complaint with the cyber crime cell in Chennai.
