Six women among 24 held on sedition charge in Sirsa

Twenty-four persons, including six women, have been arrested for sedition and other heinous crimes while 15 others have been held for breach of prohibitory orders in Sirsa after the verdict against Gurmeet Ram Rahim was announced.

Those arrested for sedition include three women — Garima and Neha from Nehar Colony and Parul from DSP road of Fatehabad — all in their twenties.

The police have identified the three other women as Sheena from Hansi, Amarjeet Kaur from Shah Satnam Singh Nagar, Sirsa, and Gurjeet Kaur from Sukhnagar colony of Sirsa.
