“We will take a decision on Padmavati only after the clearance from the censor board. We will not allow anyone’s sentiments to be hurt. We don’t think it is right to ban (a film) before censor board’s decision,” stated Khattar, addressing the media.
The Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have stated that the movie will not be released in the states if it distorts history and hurts people's sentiments.
