Director Ranjan Ghosh is unsure about how the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) will react to the content of his film titled 'Rongberonger Korhi'. Ghosh's film starring Chiranjeet, Rituparna Sengupta, Ritwik Chakraborty, Soham Chakraborty and Arunima Ghosh has Aparna Sen as the creative consultant.

'Rongberonger Korhi' is based on four stories penned by the director himself. While one story involving a sex worker and her client shows the effects of demonetisation where people have lost their jobs, there is another story about two tribal characters called Ram and Sita who are filing for divorce. The moot point now is whether or not advisory panel members of local CBFC will find this film too tricky for certification.
