Indian Journalist Union (IJU) is shocked to know that two more journalists of Arunachal Times were attacked in front of the newspaper's office on Sept 11. Earlier on July 15 Tongam Rina the Associate Editor of the daily was shot at at the same spot. At 2.10AM Ranjit Sarkar and Sunando Bora, both editorial staff of the daily were attacked by some miscreants. While Sarkar suffered grievous injury, Bora's was minor. Both of them were admitted to the R K Hospital. This is the fourth attack on the journalists of the daily. IJU demands the government to investigate the repeated attacks on the journalists of the newspaper and to book the culprits as some of them were captured on CCTV of Arunachal Times office while Sarkar and Bora were attacked.
