Chandigarh, Punjab (February 09, 2014): It is learnt that producers of"Kaum De Heere" Punjabi movie have submitted their movie before the revision committee. It may be recalled that the CBFC had banned the movie on January 29.
The movie is reportedly based on life and martyrdom of Bhai Beant Singh and Satwant Singh, who had assassinated Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in October 1984 after later had ordered armed invasion of Darbar Sahib Amritsar in June 1984.
The movie was scheduled for release on February 28 but it was denied clearance certificate by CBFC on January 29. CBFC clearance certificate is necessary for the screening of any movie/ film in India.
"After the refusal of Censor Board, the movie has been submitted this week before the revision committee for screening. The revision committee"™s decision shall arrive in coming days, we are expecting that it shall be in our favour", Raj Kakra, a lyricist-turned-actor informed his Facebook fans.
