MOGA, Punjab

The rivalry between two senior Akali leaders from Moga district " Punjab agriculture minister Tota Singh and Nihal Singh Wala MLA Rajwinder Kaur " had reached the cyber world earlier in the year. The fallout: on Wednesday, Kaur's personal assistant and two others were booked for lampooning the minister on Facebook by allegedly calling him 'parrot'.

The cases against Kaur's PA Baldev Singh and followers Rajwinder Singh and Ravi Baasi were registered at Moga Sadar and Kot Ise Khan police stations following a complaint from Barjinder Singh Brar, the minister's son. The three were booked under the IT Act for using foul language on Facebook against Tota Singh during the parliamentary elections.
