The Ahmedabad-based Neesa group is launching six TV channels, including an English news channel. It is already running a Hindi news channel Jano Dunia. The group is headed by a former IAS officer of the Gujarat cadre turned entrepreneur, who owns hotels and resorts. It has appointed former Tribune journalist Kamlendra Kanwar as its media business head.
