The Deccan Chronicle reports that a senior journalist was found murdered on Monday night, in his office in Junagadh in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat. Kishore Dave, bureau chief of Gujarati newspaper Jai Hind,was stabbed at 9 pm when he was writing a story. He was alone in the office when attacked. A police case has been registered but it does not mention any suspects, the paper reports. It adds that relatives of the 53-year-old Dave have alleged that the son of a local politician is responsible for the murder.
