Granted that Vineet Jain, MD of the Times Group, is one of the producers of the film, Talvar. But that should not mean that the film should twist facts to suit the producer's media company. One of the triggers of the case was a detailed interview by NDTV's Sonia Singh's of Noopur Talwar, Arushi's mother, whose deadpan reactions made many believe that she was complicit in the her daughter's brutal murder. In Talvar, the credit for that interaction is given not to a fictionalised channel but to Times Now. The movie has also been getting some heavy duty coverage in Delhi Times. How's that for cosy product placement?
