Why do some TV anchors think that viewers want their life stories instead of just providing them news that they are paid to give ? On India Today channel Rahul Kanwal is a frequent offender. On Saturday while doing a show on demonetization he told the audience and panelists to clap loudly for bankers...then he went onto add that he comes from a family of bankers and that all his ''chachas'' (uncles) had been working very hard in the banks since the demonetization. On another occasion while discussing the banned but rampant sex determination tests on a programme Kanwal said, "Ï was really upset when they would not tell me the sex of my child- I wanted to know..." Yawn.
