Menon was curt with journos, particularly the journos from Pakistan. His raised eyebrows at a Pakistani journalist who asked India to show a little more warmth in its negotiations with Pakistan and her use of the word 'lachak' had the South Indian Indian NSA chief repeating : 'lachak??' with an ironical smile.
