Kuldip Nayar made libelous comments about Indian Express editor-in-chief Shekhar Gupta in his autobiography published a year ago. He thought it was disrespectful of Gupta to have dropped his column and called him abnormally affluent and arrogant. In the new edition of the book he has eaten his words, with his publishers declaring as much.
