BBC's Hindi radio service has transfered its remaining five state correspondents to Delhi, and served terminatiion notices to some who have not moved yet. A withdrawal of regional news bureaux which began in 2011 and earlier, is now set to be completed, following which the famed Hindi service will have no newsgathering network left in India except in the capital city.
