Eyebrows rose in Srinagar when ETV Urdu put up hoardings congratulating PDP chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on becoming the first woman CM of the state. ETV Special Correspondent Rifat Abdullah, who was working since 2005 with the channel said he submitted his resignation today on "moral grounds" after the hoardings were installed. Former CM Omar Abdullah also commented on the channel doing its reporting with the hoardings as a backdrop.
