Facebook journalism

A reader has sent this example of Facebook journalism in ToI Bengaluru on the September 9, 2015. A reporter files a complete story on a fake school bus picking up a child (and gets it accepted) based merely on a Facebook post!  Does not loot look like he talked to the school, or the parents, or checked why a police complaint was not filed.
