News TV is no longer about news, but about atmospherics. In the continuing gush after the Lok Sabha and Raja Sabha resolutions were passed not a a single English channel had the gumption to point out what was news: that Parliament had in fact kept the PM. The Judiciary and the MPs out of the Lok Pal. It took Mani Shankar Aiyar, on CNN IBN, to spell that out for the news audience.
