Last year the whole country saw
Karunanidhi being shoved around by the police on Sun TV. So the police are now
smarter. Policemen in Chennai grabbed a Sun TV cassette which filmed a lathi
charge on DMK workers, and confiscated it. When they returned it after
"talks" the offending footage had been replaced with innocent-looking
traffic visuals.
