The National Commission for Women has strongly condemned recently-aired episodes of the serial Na Aana Is Desh Meri Lado where a woman is subjected to torture and ordered to have into sex outside marriage in order to bear her mother in law a male heir. NCW chairperson Girija Vyas said the Commission has sought clarifications from Colors TV which airs the serial because this shocks the moral values of society and is likely to deprive, corrupt or injure the public morality.
