Economist Bibek Debroy tweeted about his mother-in-law’s new flat being available for rent. On the strength of just that the Economic Times carried this Third Eye snippet titled 'Planning Much Ahead'. It said that while there is only speculation so far about who will be on the new planning body, a 'strategic economist' who is a front runner, has already started looking for suitable tenants for his house. A further leap of assumption: but there are few takers for the enormously expensive house! Debroy then tweeted, "Apropos my mother-in-law's house & my tweet yesterday, Third Eye in ET today illustrates why I dislike media, despite writing for the paper." The paper said in a clarification on September 9 that there were 'factual errors and misinterpretation' in the snippet!
