Is Quint culpable?

IN Media Watch Briefs | 04/03/2017

Quint has been named in this story which the Indian Express carried on March 4, on an army jawan committing suicide.  But the video which is  still available here  does not name the jawan being talked to, or show his face. It does however name the army cantonment where he was located.  The text of the story which is still available on other sites  said an Army jawan contacted Quint--presumably Roy Mathew who later committed suicide--to give them a better look at the ignominy. This story on the army jawan found dead  which Quint carried yesterday says nothing at all about his being the same person they did a sting on. The sting had been uploaded on February 23. But the point is, is he the one who contacted Quint? If so it contradicts Newslaundry's version that his brother said he did not know he was talking to a journalist.  Did he know he was being recorded when he spoke? Maybe the website should give us its version?
