Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is riled at the media again, less than two months after resolutions were passed in the new Assembly against a Seemandhra channel for allegedly offensive coverage. This time it is a Times of India story that has provoked him. The paper said (on August 1) that he was not giving his finance minister enough of a role in formulating the state budget. Stop these lunatic writings, Rao is reported to have said in Telugu, during his address at a government meeting. (K Jagadeeswara Rao)
