I must inform you that for a young journalist ( in age and experience), TheHoot along with MEDIAAH! , is a ready resource guide on anything and well almost, everything under the Media sun!
What strikes me as a reader is the exhaustive range of topics you cover with passion and the number of contributors who help readers like me, understand the issues and present them without make-up!
However, I find it vital to admit that I am slightly disappointed with TheHoot vis-a-vis its art coverage or the lack of it. It is interesting to note that we admire and encourage people to take interest in arts but how much do we contribute as media commentators, writers and speakers in ensuring the steady flow of information on the world of Indian Art?
Dance, films,theatre, music, sculpture, painting, singing, poetry, prose..the list is endless... I am sure, if we get around to understanding Media`s relationship with Art, there will be enough for us to discover, to talk about and to share.
