Letter to the Hoot: what is acceptable?

IN Opinion | 26/08/2005
I had never thought before about what this must have done to the friends and families of the those in the pictures.

This is about the front page story which appeared in the Afternoon.

A lot of people are killed everyday. Some of the deaths become news stories. Some of these stories have gruesome pictures. They feed our curiosity since many of us don`t see dead / murdered bodies everyday. I had never thought about what this must have done to the friends and families of the those in the pictures.

The question is - what is acceptable? Check this link:

I asked two people from Afternoon about this  picture.  They weren`t too pleased about the picture but said  that Afternoon was not a `morning` paper.

If any of you readers know the responsible people at Afternoon, pleas email them. I`m going to include my  email address here. Please share your ideas with me if you can justify what Afternoon has printed.
