Loya story evolves--and how

IN Media Watch Briefs | 27/11/2017

Media investigations in the Loya story get curiouser and curiouser. Caravan's initial story raised dire suspicions about the judge's death but with each subsequent follow-up  the facts are becoming transformed. The auto rickshaw in which the judge was taken to hospital remained an auto rickshaw in the NDTV follow up, with its use being justified, but with the Indian Express  getting into the act it has become a car, indeed two cars. Caravan said the body to the judge's village was sent with just a driver, NDTV says not so, there were two judicial officers and a constable inside the ambulance. Express says two judicial officers  followed in another car. As for the ECG, the first story said he was taken to a hospital where the machine was not working, NDTV said it worked and showed a tall spike, Express has a photo of hospital and ECG report. Today, November 27, the date on the ECG report is reported as being wrong. We wait with baited breath for more discoveries.
