Mr Chidambaram seems to have some high-powered support from the media in countering the allegations Subramaniam Swamy and Arun Jaitley have been throwing at him. First there was the India Today cover story whose headline made a statement. It was called Fall Guy. It used confidential documents and notes to let Mr C off the hook and point to the PM as the person who was to blame. Now Karan Thapar on India Tonight has a panel where three people are ranged against Subramaniam Swamy including Prabhu Chawla, and two legal people. Both KT Tulsi and Soli Sorabji bat for P Chidambaram, so does the other PC. Thapar appears quite pleased with that.
