This year information and broadcasting minister Arun Jaitley threw a Christmas party on December 29 with bishops, sundry Delhi citizens of the Christian faith and and an assortment of Christian journalists invited, mostly Malayalis, for some reason. A choir sang Christmas carols and the guests took home gifts of Christmas cake.
