Media watching itself?

The Delhi Union of Journalists has shot off a letter to the PCI Chairman criticising the Arushi Talwar murder coverage in the TOI on January 7, 2012. It has asked the Press Council of India to initiate suo moto action on the basis of the coverage,  which it says "is against journalistic ethics".  The DUJ has complained that the report "Hemraj-Aarushi intimacy proved fatal” contains " lurid and objectionable details of the CBI report which clearly defames and maligns the young girl’s character."
