Muzzling Togadia?

IN Media Watch Briefs | 06/04/2015
On 5 April, Praveen Togadia, the International Working President of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, held a press conference in which he blamed the West Bengal government for muzzling his freedom of speech. This came after he was prohibited from addressing a rally in North Dinajpur district by the Mamata Banerjee government fearing communal tension. Togadia said the VHP will make use of social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp to get across its message in the form of videos. (The Indian Express)
