The Arunachal Times office in Itanagar came under attack reportedly by a "group of unidentified people". The Associate Editor for the paper states that more than ten people carried out the attack inside the ofifce, "while a few more waited outside." Several computers were damaged in the incident. However no employees were physically harmed. The Arunachal Pradesh Union of Working Journalists and Arunachal Press Club have stated that such incidents occur often due to "inaction of authorities."
