A movement of Telugu TV artistes and technicians against dubbed serials is gathering momentum in Andhra Pradesh. A joint action committee formed has demanded that the airing of some 60 serials dubbed from other languages be stipped as they deny opportunity to local channel. The Ugadi festval has been set as a deadline for stopping, and the organisers claim that ETV has given an assurance that it will do so.(The Hindu)
