No gush please

The prime minister of Bhutan is a leader who likes to choose his words judiciously. Addressing a roomful of South Asian journalists in the run up to the SAARC Summit in Thimpu, he replaced some of the words in his written text.  He substituted  the reference to ‘a roomful of intellectual giants’  with the phrase ‘knowledgeable professionals.’  Suspecting,  doubtless, that there were not too many intellectual giants among the journos present.
